Our Plans

Hanna and Mark hiking in LaplandWe leave the UK, flying to Singapore, on 2nd July 2009. We return to London on 2nd September.

Although our exact route and the dates when we'll move from place to place are uncertain, our rough itenerary for the adventure is as follows:

  • Singapore, for a little over a week;
  • Malaysia, working our way north over the course of a week and a half;
  • Thailand, travelling first to Bangkok by train from Malaysia;
  • eastwards through southern Thailand;
  • the far south of Laos, working our way south to the border with Cambodia;
  • Cambodia, travelling from the northeast, probably to Phnom Penh;
  • back to Bangkok to get a flight to Singapore;
  • flight from Singapore to Manila, Philippines;
  • two weeks in and around Manila;
  • finally, back to London, via Singapore.
